Why C-Cl bond of Chlorobenzene stronger than that of chloroethane?
i tried so hard but couldnot solve.. plz help
i dont think doble bond of c in c6h6 ork here

There is a ring of delocalised electrons in benzene and it's derivatives. This draws away electron density making the C more electropositive giving greater difference in electronegativity making the bond stronger
Also,in alkyl halides like chloroethane,the alkyl groups are electron releasing in nature so more the no. of alkyl groups attached to a carbocation,the more the delocalisation of the +ve charge on the carbocation,the more the carbocation is stabilised and as sonic says , I guess the electronegativity diff. in this particular C-Cl bond would be lowered ,thus making the bond weaker .
