hi.:)
a prton a neutron and an electron all travelling at the same velocity enter a magnetic field. which particle will be deflected most and why.

am not sure but i believe that both proton and electron will be deflected but an not sure which will deflect more and why.

so am requesting help in figuring it out can uhelp me please?

Yeah, the proton and the electron will but the neutron won't because it has no overall charge.

To deflect a particle you have to overcome it's inertia (Newton's first Law). As inertia is a function of mass it takes more energy to deflect a heavier particle.

Therefore the one that is most deflected is the one with the least mass
