I have forgotten all about enthalpy and entropy. Could you please tell me what they are?

I think ent is the amount of disorder in a sys- lemme' check my notes...

Well, the definitions differ slightly based on what situation. Enthalpy (delta H) is usually heat change or heat loss or some measurement to do with heat energy.

Entropy is disorder, afaik, it's more of a physics thing I think

enthalpy is used to find out heat transfer or difference

entropy is most commonly found in the second law of thermodynamics, which put simply, is the entropy or the universe is always increasing
