Question:

Answer: C

Okay so let me go through each letter and please let me know if I am missing something, if my thoughts are incorrect and also if they are correct.

A) That is false since the reactant side must be lower than the product side in order for it to be an endothermic process.
B) I do not understand.
C) I do not understand.
D) I do not understand but does it have something to do with activation energy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

B and C are just confusing ways of saying "it's exothermic" or "it's endothermic"

If the reaction transfers energy into its surrounding, then it's releasing energy and is exothermic. If it absorbs energy from its surroundings, then it's consuming energy and is endothermic.

Since we know that A is wrong, it must be an exothermic reaction, so C is correct.
