A gas identical of H-like atom has some atoms in the lowest energy
level A and some atoms in the particular upper (excited) energy level
B and there are no any other atom in any other energy level . The atom
of gas make transition to a higher energy level by absorbing
monochromatic light of photon energy 2.7 eV .Subsequently the atom
emit radiation of only six different photons energies . Some of the
photons have energy 2.7 eV.some have more and some have less than 2.7
eV
(i) Find the principal quantum no of initially excited level B
(ii) Find the ionisation energy of the gas atoms
(iii) Find the max. and min. energies of the emitted photon
